A night at the post office
We emerged from the subway to this view. The snow had just started and this huge building just came out of nowhere. The city was amazing like that, we didn't plan our travel routs at all, but we ended up running into a lot of really cool things we might have missed otherwise.
Central Park
This is poet's walk in Central Park. The park was one of the best parts of the city for me. It was nice to find some trees that weren't landscaped. It was the most odd park I have ever been to though so big you can almost get lost in feeling away from the city, and then you look up and the buildings that surround you remind you of the hubub outside.
Tall Skinny Buildings
I loved these buildings. They are so craftily made to look like unique little homes in a place where home seemed so far away to me. Each one had it's own personality.

As a tribute to my wonderful boy who put up with flowers all day

Now doesn't he look like a goofball. So yeah I finally dusted off my camera. It was sunny and there was prettyness and it was time. I think I want to work on my editing ability because well, I'm not so good in the digital darkroom. Anyways the weekend was great and things have been going pretty well. This quarter is flying past and I am excited for next year. Jamie, Shelby, Hallie and I have been scouring bellingham for a place to live....EEEK! Hopefully we figure that out soon. I am going home for the summer and working at the fuel dock (thanks to shay) and possibly as a sailing instructor (thanks to andrew). It's been sunny here for almost two weeks, its absolutely breathtaking and it makes me not want to leave. Just when I am getting used to life here its going to turn on it's head. It took adjusting and a lot of missing above boy but I really do love it hear. The bay reaches out underneath my window and the sunset is amazing almost every night. I live 10 feet from my friends and I don't know I guess I finally am content. It's a good feeling. Going home will be different, my life is so different, and I think I'm a little different, but it will be good to see everyone for one last summer.
